Hahn is the former chairman of the Edison Democratic Committee, who in June lost his reelection bid by one vote to Shariq Ahmad and subsequently changed parties to run for mayor as a Republican. Edison’s Public Schools are now at crisis levels with no viable solution in sight.” Over the last four years, the Lankey Administration has failed to communicate with the ETEA or the Edison Board of Education to address the overcrowding in our schools. “The Edison Township Education Association has voted to endorse Keith Hahn for Mayor of Edison Township,” said ETEA President Jeff Bowden. “Keith supports Edison’s Public Schools and has worked hand-in-hand with the ETEA to bring community events to the township’s children.
